divine

Divine
aperture: f/1.8
shutter speed: 1/200
ISO: 100
Nikon D80

For our photography class. Little change on the color balance then changed the color of her eyes with the use of Gimp. With the use of the scarf, I tried if making it a ribbon would make the shot effective. I noticed also that her arms framed her with the ribbon.

Enchant
aperture: f/1.8

The f/1.8 helped me here. In this photoshoot, we played the scarf until a good pose and angle came. I like the bounce of the light on the scarf. I make the background black and white to emphasize the color of the scarf and the face of the model. I also manipulated her eyes because I want to try it. It is a part of our plate in photography.

Different concept for a change. There are times that I'm excited to experiment with my shots. Angled in a way that her body will fit in the frame. I add the hat for her costume because I feel that it will be needed in this shot. I changed the tone of the background to fit her costume and to the whole image.

Elegance
aperture: f/1.4
shutter speed: 1/200
ISO: 250
Nikon D80

Shot for our photography class. My concept here are more on the curves of a female body and her clothes. I did not include intentionally her face because it is the model's request and I want to try something different. The 50mm f/1.4 lens helped me a lot in this photoshoot. It makes my concepts reality and great bokeh. I changed the color balance using Gimp, since it is my comfort zone when doing color processing to an image. I tried also Lightroom but I'm not that satisfied with the outcome.

Wheel
aperture: f/18
shutter speed: 6/1
ISO: 400
Nikon D80

The Wheel of Fate of Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Very interesting to shot during night time because of its lights. It is like a fire circling around. It is my 1st time to take shots of the rides in Enchanted Kingdom, and also my 1st time to ride this ferris wheel. I get nervous in the ride, but I try to get pictures from above so that I will not get very nervous.

sweet

Sweet
aperture: f/3.2
shutter speed: 2/1
ISO: 800
Nikon D80

Vodka with cherry is the best. The mix taste of alcohol and sweetness of the fruit is delicious. Playing with the angles and the color balance. Placing the camera on the table so that it is stable. I like the bubbles in the vodka and the moist in the glass because it looks very natural. I love bokeh, so I put the setting in the lowest aperture the lens can hold, then the background became a combination of colors.

At the lobby of a hotel, I suddenly looked upward, then I saw this. Awesome interior architecture. My mind told me to place my camera on a table, pointing upwards. My hand sets up the aperture and shutter speed of the camera, then pressed the shutter button. My eyes were amazed by the great shot I saw. After the experience that I had in this building, it became a habit to me to look at the ceiling of the buildings.

Doña
aperture: f/4.0
shutter speed: 1/15
ISO: 800
Nikon D80

My baby little sister. The doña. Today, she already walk. Sitting on a high chair, I asked my father to support her so that I can get a good picture of her. The result is this. This was my few shots that her smile was somewhat mature. My father noticed it too. Today, I was still hoping that I can get another shot of her again. For me, this shot was like a rare phenomenon when the subject is a baby.

swing

Swing
aperture: f/6.3
shutter speed: 1/1250
ISO: 320
Nikon D80

Swing in a resort in the higher Antipolo City, over-looking the city below. When we arrive to this place, I noticed already that the resort can be a good setting for a photoshoot. Adding a little creativity to every shot plus the great setting will result to an awesome image. When I become rich in the future, I will make a house that has swing. For me, a swing symbolizes bonding and relaxation.

Democracy
aperture: f/6.3
shutter speed: 1/800
ISO: 800
Nikon D80

Shot during former president Cory Aquino's funeral in Manila Cathedral. A lucky shot for me. It was raining so hard, covering my camera with my umbrella and my jacket, then I noticed this man carrying a yellow rosary and a yellow ribbon on his hand. A man carrying the objects that symbolizes the late president, praying for her journey to the other world, joining our creator.

Silent Night
aperture: f4.8
shutter speed: 1/10
ISO: 800
Nikon D80

I noticed that the moon is between the clouds while I was walking going home. I excitedly get my camera, changed the lens to 200mm, then went off to the roof to get a clear shot.  For me, the clear shot of the moon with its crater is common. For a difference, I intentionally slowed the shutter so that I can get a shot of the moon with the clouds. Then I played the color balance in my camera for the tone of the clouds

Couple
aperture: f/10
shutter speed: 1/500
ISO: 800

Sunset shot at the seaside of SM Mall of Asia. Stolen shot. I don't know them. I was just with my friend sitting there, then I realized that I can take a picture of them, making a silhouette of this couple and some boats floating in the sea. Adjusted the color balance of my camera, the orange sky slowly became blue. For me, this shot is requires good timing of the weather. I was lucky here because the weather is good.

A face in the trunk of a small plant. I don't know what the plant is, but I was surprised when I saw it on my viewfinder. This image was one of the series shots when I first used my 55-200mm lens. I was familiarizing myself with the lens, at the same time, trying to get good bokeh shots. Honestly, bokeh is one of my favorite shots

Lighthouse
aperture: f/11
shutter speed: 1/500
ISO: 800
Nikon D80

The lighthouse is located in Bolinao, Pangasinan, Philippines. This structure is solar powered, gathering power during daytime, and converting it to light energy during night time. It was my 1st time to get close to this lighthouse, though we always see it from afar. Also, we had a chance to go inside and at the top of the lighthouse.
